In more than two decades of professional writing, I've covered nearly everything from business and education to faith and family issues. After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in 1983 with a degree in English, I worked as an assistant editor and copywriter at trade magazines and ad agencies in and around Los Angeles. In 1994, I went freelance, which gave me a chance to raise my family and write kids' books on the side. My books have been translated into multiple languages (Italian, even!) and have been featured on the radio, in podcasts and--my favorite thing--at schools. I'm currently  the editor of Living Faith Kids, and I write books, articles and content for educational and faith-based publishers. My husband and I live in Orange County, California with our two (almost) grown sons and one cat who thinks she's really our daughter.
